Data Deletion Instructions

At ProtectorNet, we respect your privacy and provide clear ways for you to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of data that ProtectorNet has received from Facebook in compliance with Facebook's Platform Terms.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data in any of the following ways:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to protectornet@protectornet.com with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your ProtectorNet account
  • Your Facebook User ID (if known)
  • A clear statement requesting deletion of data obtained through Facebook

Option 2: Use Our Deletion Request Form

Optional, but helps us process your request faster

Option 3: Account Settings

If you have an active account with ProtectorNet, you can also delete data collected from Facebook through your account settings:

  1. Log in to your ProtectorNet account
  2. Go to "Account Settings"
  3. Select "Privacy and Data"
  4. Click "Delete Data from Facebook"
  5. Confirm your request

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request deletion, we will remove all personal data that ProtectorNet received through Facebook, including:

  • Your profile information obtained via Facebook Login
  • Activity data tracked while using Facebook Login
  • Friend lists or social connections obtained through Facebook
  • Any posts, comments, or interactions made using Facebook Login
  • Usage data related to Facebook integrations

Timeframe for Processing

We will process all data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been completely deleted from our active systems. Please note that it may take up to 90 days to remove your data from our backup systems.

Data Retention Requirements

In some cases, we may be legally required to retain certain information for specific periods despite your deletion request. If this applies to any of your data, we will inform you which information we must retain, for how long, and the reason for the retention.
