Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 17, 2026 - Version 2.1 (includes Early Access Supplement)
Important: Please check these Terms periodically for changes. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Website and application following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
Welcome to ProtectorNet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ProtectorNet website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Website" or "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
📑 ProtectorNet Early Access Program (Alpha Preview)
Version 1.0 (Alpha Preview) - Effective Date: February 17, 2026
The following supplemental terms govern your participation in the ProtectorNet Preview Program. By accessing the platform during this phase, you agree to these terms designed to protect the integrity of our experimental security logic.
A. Confidentiality & Anti-Reverse Engineering
The ProtectorNet platform, including its user interface, JSON outputs, and anti-evasion methodology, is Strictly Confidential.
- Prohibited Acts: You shall not capture screenshots, record video demonstrations, or share raw data outputs with any third party without express written consent.
- Anti-Dissection: You are strictly prohibited from attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or "stress test" the stealth logic (e.g., masking of
navigator.webdriver). - The "Why": Our "Stealth" patches are proprietary. Public exposure of these methods allows attackers to develop bypasses, nullifying the tool's effectiveness for all users.
B. "As-Is" Status & Liability Shield
You are entering an active construction zone.
- No Warranty: ProtectorNet is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee 100% threat detection or system uptime.
- Liability Cap: ProtectorNet and its developers shall not be held liable for any security breaches, data loss, or missed threats occurring during the use of this alpha version. Participation is at your own risk.
- The "Why": This is a testing environment. We are building the shield while the arrows are flying; this clause ensures a "miss" during alpha doesn't result in a company-ending lawsuit.
C. Irrevocable Feedback Ownership
We value your brainpower, but we own the blueprints.
- Assignment of Rights: Any suggestions, bug reports, feature ideas, or forensic improvements ("Feedback") you provide are hereby assigned to ProtectorNet.
- Royalty-Free: You grant ProtectorNet a perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide license to use and implement this Feedback without compensation or "co-inventor" claims.
- The "Why": If you suggest a brilliant new forensic table, we need to be able to ship it to all users instantly without legal hurdles.
D. Data Telemetry & ML Training Rights
To stay ahead of threats, we must learn from them.
- Usage Rights: ProtectorNet reserves the right to collect and process anonymized telemetry (URL patterns, redirect chains, and forensic metadata).
- AI Training: You grant ProtectorNet the right to utilize this anonymized data to train our internal Machine Learning models and predictive threat algorithms.
E. Program Duration & Commercial Transition
- The Term: This preview phase is currently active for authorized early adopters, after which access may be revoked or modified.
- Pricing Shift: Participation in the Alpha does not entitle the user to permanent free access. Upon "General Release," users may be transitioned to a paid tier.
- Grandfathering: While we aim to reward "Early Birds" with preferred rates, ProtectorNet reserves the right to set Enterprise pricing based on market value.
1. Service Description and Access
ProtectorNet provides a cybersecurity platform offering threat detection, URL scanning, brand monitoring, and security intelligence services.

5. Fair Use Policy
To ensure equitable access and optimal service quality for all users, ProtectorNet maintains a Fair Use Policy that applies to all service tiers, including unlimited plans.
5.1 Fair Use Principles
Fair use encompasses reasonable and responsible use of the Service consistent with industry standards for similar security intelligence platforms. Users agree to utilize the Service in a manner that does not negatively impact system performance, security, or the experience of other users. While unlimited tiers provide generous access, they are intended for legitimate business use, not for:
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the Service or its data to third parties
- Operating a competing security intelligence platform or derivative service
- Automated mass scraping or bulk exporting of data for commercial redistribution
- Stress testing, load testing, or penetration testing of ProtectorNet infrastructure without written authorization
- Mining or extracting threat intelligence data for training machine learning models or AI systems (unless specifically licensed)
- Using the Service as a backup or redundant system in lieu of a primary security tool without proper licensing
- Accessing the Service through automated bots, scrapers, or frameworks not explicitly authorized by ProtectorNet
5.2 Usage Limits and Resource Management
ProtectorNet reserves the right to implement and enforce the following limits to maintain service quality and protect system resources:
- API Rate Limiting: API requests are subject to rate limits that may vary by tier. Limits may include requests per second, requests per hour, or daily request quotas.
- Concurrent User Sessions: Maximum number of simultaneous authenticated sessions may be enforced based on subscription tier.
- Data Storage: Account data, scan history, and exported results are subject to storage limits based on subscription level and retention policies.
- Scan Volume: While unlimited tiers offer generous access, we may implement reasonable caps on simultaneous concurrent scans or daily scan volume to ensure platform stability.
- Export Bandwidth: Bulk data exports and API data downloads are subject to bandwidth throttling to prevent infrastructure abuse.
- Response Time SLAs: API response times may be prioritized based on subscription tier; heavy usage during peak periods may result in longer response times.
5.3 Monitoring and Compliance
ProtectorNet monitors usage patterns and behavior to detect and prevent abusive activity. Monitoring includes:
- Automated detection of unusual access patterns, spike anomalies, or suspicious behavior
- Analysis of API usage metrics, bandwidth consumption, and resource utilization
- Review of exported data volume, frequency, and patterns
- Tracking of IP addresses, geographic locations, and device fingerprints accessing your account
- Periodic audits of account activity to ensure compliance with Terms of Service
Users agree that monitoring and audit activities are necessary to maintain service integrity and may not constitute privacy violations.
5.4 Right to Deny or Suspend Service
ProtectorNet reserves the absolute right to deny, suspend, or terminate access to the Service immediately, without advance notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms of Service or Fair Use Policy
- Usage patterns that exceed fair use thresholds or violate reasonable use expectations
- Potential security threats, fraud detection, or suspicious account behavior
- Non-payment or delinquent billing
- Violation of applicable laws, regulations, or court orders
- Activities that harm ProtectorNet infrastructure, systems, or other users
- Unilateral assessment that continued access poses business, legal, or operational risk
- Service abuse, including but not limited to: intentional resource exhaustion, DDoS attacks, bot-driven access patterns
- Unauthorized attempts to access data belonging to other users
- Circumvention or bypassing of service restrictions, rate limits, or access controls
In cases of service denial or suspension:
- ProtectorNet will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you via the email on file
- You may have the opportunity to dispute the decision within 14 days
- Data may be retained for limited purposes (e.g., billing, legal compliance) as permitted by law
- No refunds will be issued for suspended service unless required by law
5.5 Acceptable Use for Paid and Unlimited Tiers
All paid tiers, including unlimited-scan plans, are provided for legitimate business security purposes. Acceptable uses include:
- Scanning URLs and domains for internal security threat assessment
- Monitoring brand impersonation and domain abuse relevant to your organization
- Conducting authorized security research within your organization
- Supporting incident response and threat investigation for your own systems
- Maintaining internal threat intelligence databases and compliance records
- Training and education of security teams on threat detection
Not Acceptable: Reselling, redistributing, or offering ProtectorNet data as a standalone service, or integrating ProtectorNet intelligence into competing platforms, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
5.6 Consequences of Fair Use Violations
Violations of this Fair Use Policy may result in:
- Immediate account suspension or termination
- Rate limit reduction or service downgrade
- Loss of access to advanced features or APIs
- Forfeiture of any remaining prepaid service credits or subscription balance
- Legal action to recover damages and enforce intellectual property rights
- Referral to law enforcement for criminal violations
5.7 Continuous Agreement and Acknowledgment

- Acknowledge that you have read and understood the Fair Use Policy
